Shivath

Shivath, the whispered heart of the universe, is a realm where the threads of existence converge, shaped by forces both seen and unseen. Its lands are not divided merely into continents, but into mazdas—vast realms comprising clusters of continents and the seas that cradle them. These mazdas are separated by the Angra Mainyu, a treacherous expanse that defies reason and dares the bold.

The Mazdas

Each mazda is a tapestry of continents bound by shared waters, cultures, and mysteries. These are worlds within a world, shaped by unique laws of nature, but connected by Shivath’s cosmic heartbeat. To cross from one Mazda to another, however, is a big challenge itself without the proper technology to do it.

The Angra Mainyu

The Angra Mainyu is the wound of the world, a scar left by the clash of creation and destruction. This chaotic expanse of sea and ruinous terrain defies reason, housing storms that tear the heavens, waters that boil and rage, and rifts that plunge into oblivion. It is said to embody Shivath’s struggles. Tales speak of Leviathans—colossal, otherworldly creatures dwelling within its depths, guardians of its impassable nature. These beings are said to rend ships as if they were leaves caught in a tempest, making unprepared passage certain doom.

A World in Fragments

The nine known mazdas sing the story of Shivath’s fractured wholeness. These lands together form the veins of a planet alive, but divided by the raging currents and living nightmares of the Angra Mainyu. Shivath itself is a hymn to survival and the will to seek the unknown. Those who walk its lands or dare its seas journey not only through a realm but across the edge of infinity itself. Shivath is, still, "a living world", still shaped by the forces that once tore it apart.
